RPR Based TDM Circuit Emulation and Synchronizing Mechanism
Abstract:With the expanding of data servers, the service of voice telecommunication still plays an important role. The adoption of TDM circuit emulation makes the service of voice telecommunication in a good condition over RPR network. 一、RPR的基本介紹
隨著數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務的迅速膨脹,城域傳送網(wǎng)的數(shù)據(jù)處理能力成為大家關注的焦點。而無論是ip over ATM,IP over SDH,還是城域Ethernet,都有各自的不足之處。一種為優(yōu)化IP數(shù)據(jù)包傳輸?shù)男碌腗AC層協(xié)議彈性分組環(huán)RPR(Resilient Packet Transport)被提上議程,該技術以其技術的先進性、投資的有效性、性能的優(yōu)越性、支持業(yè)務的多樣性,顯現(xiàn)出了其獨特的優(yōu)勢。RPR技術一方面吸收了以太網(wǎng)技術的優(yōu)點,如經(jīng)濟、靈活和可擴展性;另一方面吸收了SDH的優(yōu)點,如對延時和抖動性能嚴格保障、可靠的時鐘以及SDH環(huán)網(wǎng)50ms快速保護;同時提供與ATM等同的QoS。隨著IEEE 802.17標準的日益完善,RPR技術逐步走向成熟。基于RPR技術的產(chǎn)品已經(jīng)問世,它是城域光網(wǎng)組網(wǎng)中許多商家優(yōu)先選擇的技術。
